The RCID has an excellent working relationship with Rondebosch SAPS.  The RCID manager has a regular meeting with SAPS, and SAPS attend the monthly RCID Committee Meeting.  The RCID seeks to demonstrate community support for the police station by providing the services of a station gardener, as well as providing basic maintenance support as needed.

Rondebosch SAPS also hosts, on behalf of the RCID, the Eden & Eve workshops for domestic workers and gardeners.  These workshops include security protocols for households and are offered free of charge.
